i feel like you could take the mechanic of movement to another level and allow players to upgrade the amount of movements they could make, but that could be heading in a different direction than what you want
my only couple complaints is that there are no stat sheets for each unit (hp, damage, movement speed, and maybe even a small descriptor) as well as that you can't move around with arrow keys, though you can with WASD so I might just need to get used to that
keep it up, it's very fun to play so far
